Eggs Hatching Soon!

Hello! It is day 18 and we can't wait to see what chicks we will hatch! We have a broody Rhode Island Red hen, Roseanna, who cannot wait to be a mama! This is our second time hatching from a broody, but this time we aren't sure of fertility. Last time, we had 3 roosters that we constantly on the hens, so we were positive that at least a few of the eggs were fertile. But this time, we do not have a rooster. So we went to our neighbor, who does have about 8 or 9 roosters. We received 5 eggs from him. I am hoping that some of those eggs are fertile! Stay tuned for new updates! I will be sure to post pics of the chickies if they hatch!

well, unfortunately only one chick hatched, but at least one is better than none! The chick has turned out to be half naked neck (turken) so of course, it is ugly! ill try to send in a few pics!
