eggs hatching sun what to do with roo?

I have 2 silkies sitting on eggs in the same box. hatch is due sun. the roo has been with them the whole time. occasionally I find him in the box with the girls. will he hurt the chicks? should I remove him?

He should be fine. I have had many roos that helped feed the babies. Just watch him once they hatch to see how he acts. The mama should protect the babies.

I once had a roo raise an incubator chick for me.

Just starter; many here say chicks can suffer from layer feed.
