Hello, i have 5 eggs incubator at 99.5F. i lightly washed the eggs before putting them in the incubator.
i looked after 10 days and all of the eggs looked good, i good see the dark shadow in the top eggs.
Now after 30 days i looked and all of the eggs have very light in the top of the eggs(the biggest end).
i haven't opened them up yet but it looks like whatever the problem is the same.

I just incubator chicken eggs and 22 of 24 hatched back in April.
Any idea what my problem might be? Temp / Humidity / ?
thanks
gary

Temperature, humidity, sanitation, bacteria, turning rate, flock nutrition, improper washing of the eggs, or bad luck. We all go through this. There is a good reason they aren't $2 chicken priced, peas are hard to hatch and raise.

ok i just cracked the eggs open and they all looked about like this picture.
there are 2 in this picture and the one in the front was the bigger one. I saw feathers and feet on all of them.
i took them out at 25days in the Egg Turners and laid them quik and raised the humidity.
i would say they look to me to be about 20days old?
i don't think anything happened around the 20th day.

Opinions?

yes mine has a fan and a turner(rocker). Yes i calibrate the temp with 2 thermometers every time i put new eggs there. and it is always the same temp.

i've check the humidity several times and it was very near 50%.
we have it in our laundry room.
