eggs have not hatched

Are you incubating the eggs laying on thier side or standing up pointy side down? Pea eggs should be laying on thier side and good humidity levels.

Thank you french black copper. Kind of new to this, but sure would like to hatch a few peafowls, myself. I always plung on things then try to find answers. Trial and error only with pea eggs it's rather expensive error. Looks like if you are to get answers BYC is the place to be.

I didnt know pea eggs needed to be on their side. I have an electronic bator that has trays n built in turner. Will have to figure something out. My hatch rate has been pretty good but could be better

Pea eggs do not have to be on their sides, but hatch rates are increased if they are. I have a friend who hatches them point down, and hatches at a 95% hatch rate every year. I do both, and for me, they are nearly always the same.
