Eggs? How close are we?

I'm not rushing my 'farm chickens" but these will be my first incubated chicks to start laying. They are 18 weeks old. I am attaching only 3 photos. They are all the same age. My rooster is starting to pay attention to them and they are in and out the nesting boxes.

For sure their hormone levels are rising. I would guess that you will see eggs in 3 to 4 weeks.

Report back. I'm happy to announce that my pullets started laying about 5 days ago. Today I got 2 pullet eggs so that's a certainty that at least 2 are laying!
