My roo has just started doing his dropped wing dance around one of my wellie pullets (instead of chasing her away until it's the juveniles' turn to eat, which is how he has treated her up till now); is this a reliable sign that she's now mature enough to breed and will start laying soon?

Is the 'roo' a mature adult cock(over one year old)?
If so, IME, it's a sure sign she's getting close....how old, in weeks, is she?
