Eggs in belly?

Lucky is not leaving her nest(now that she is home!) Is there anyway to tell if there is an egg in her belly? She is squating and shows all the signs but no egg yet.

Thanks for the info it was great I did find out that you can feel and egg in her belly. Going outside to check her out.
