I put eggs in my new incubator and candled the other night. I only threw out 8 out of 33. I can see veins and babies moving in the rest of the eggs. This is really exciting for me. They should start hatching around the 22nd of April. I hope this goes well, we had a two hour power outage yesterday morning. I woke up and went oh no, the electricity is off; jumped out of bed and put a heavy curtain over the top to hold in the heat. I hope it didn't hurt them.

Lots of people experience power outages while incubating and the hatch is not effected. A couple of hours should do nothing bad to the eggs.
