I'm hoping someone can give me some good news!
I had one egg left to hatch and she was already on day 25.
On day 24 I thought I imaged movement but on day 25 that egg was rocking and lady inside had a party...then we had a power outage and our generator stopped working and that poor egg had no heat for 24hours (maybe a little bit less).
When our power came back on, I Ieft the egg in the incubator and hoped the heat would revive my chickie. I tried candling but its too dark, I can't see anything clearly and I didn't want to leave it out too long.
I have 5 other eggs on day 14 and I was sure they also passed away but after leaving them for a few hours to heat, I candled them and saw clear movement in all of them.
I want to be hopeful of this last egg. They are my buff Orpington and I only have 8 chicks. I'm very attached to the breed.
