Eggs in incubator 8/22. Anyone else putting eggs in?

At 7:20p.m. my first of 9 eggs hatched.

I jave 4 lil cochins and 2 lil w. LeghornxEE eggs peepin at me!! I don't hold out much hope for my 3 eggs from my redstars. I'm going to have to start incubating them separately, so I can do a mich lower incubation humidity....their thick shells just aren't losing enough moisturr.

These are the last of the chicks that I am hatching till spring - so I'll probably be going through a little hatching withdrawal. I'll have to get some pictures before they grow up

Its out now, but is still stuck to the shell by its umbilical cord, poor little thing is exhausted, but still trying so hard to escape the egg!

Will post up pics this evening, I've been taking pics every step of the way so far.

Another two hatched at 10:00a.m. And in the process knocked over my thermometer.

Thats alright, I got it upright by pushing on it threw a hole with a piece of 10gauge audio wire.

3 eggs in the pip to zip stage... man they are slow!! Hard to sit on hands.

When I looked in the bator this morning the humidity was down to 38%
