I put my eggs in the bator this morn!! I am nervous, happy, scared, eggcited!! I do have a question, I had my temps regulated and then I put the eggs in. They have been in there for an hour and the temp is only 92 degrees. Is this ok? Not sure how long it takes temps to come back up.

It needs to be 99.5-100 degrees, if it dropped when you put the eggs in initially that is normal and will come back up to temp fairly quickly. As long as it isn't a prolonged period that it drops you should be fine. Just keep an eye on it and the humidity through out, and relax. My first hatch I had at 95.5 for a few days until I realized that I had read the instructions wrong and I still hatched 7 out of 10 on my first hatch. Relax and keep asking questions. Miss Prissy and others were very helpful to me. Good luck!!

Give it a couple hours and the temps should come back up. The eggs have to come up to temp first then the air temps will come up and should stablize.

Good luck with your hatch.

It's could take hours for your temps to come back up...don't go adjusting anything right off the bat......You will do just fine, we have all been where you are threading....have a good hatch and don't give yourself an ulcer!!...Ask questions here when you need to, there are never dumb questions...........

They are coming back up!!! I am at work and my niece is at home so I have been driving her nuts with phone calls!!! She is gonna stop answering the phone before the day is over.
