eggs in the rails during hatching

i think somewhere on here that some people leave eggs in the rails during hatcing,however I cant find the post for it, my question is: can you leave ALL in them rails safely?
 
I would be afraid of their feet or legs getting caught... I hatch mine in egg cartons with the bottom cut out.
 
sorry I didnt make it more specific I do not use a turner just the rails in a home made incubator for easier turning the rails can sit flat on the bottom of the trays I have them on(simular to leaving them in an egg carton

My first time hatching, I left them in the rails cause I didn't know any better. Ended up opening the bator to take them out.

I'd hate to think of the cleanup the rails would need.
