Eggs I've gotten this month.

Well,

I've got 21 hens, and about 16 lay. I decided that I would record every egg I get this month and see how many I wind up with! If every laying hen was to lay an egg a day, I would get 496 eggs. I dont think I did too bad! I got my final count today and wound up with 335 eggs this month. Those NNs sure are good layers!

I think more people should try this! Im going to try it next month just to see the difference. I might actually do it every month, its fun to see what you get!

I use a calander and make tally marks for each egg. Then I have not only for the month but, day by day!

I have twelve hens, one that is not laying-now for two months. Here are my totals:

I find it very interesting that December and January were your best months.
