Hi - sorry for gaterashing from the uk but this is the BEST

chicken forum i've found!

just one question at the mo (sure there'll be more!) i've just put my 1st lot of 12 eggs in my incubator but it seems to take along time to get back to temp once i've put the lid back on, is this ok?? i will only be doing it 3 times a day to turn the eggs but worried it'll harm them?

no harm done by turning, just do it gently.

it does take a bit to get back to temp--some say up to 24 hrs. dont adjust temps to much now or they could jump up on you once it settles.
