Eggs missing the white thing attached to yolk

Anyone ever seen eggs with the white thing attached to yolk? I have been having trouble hatching white cochin egg 6 hens out of the last 3 months incubating every egg 4 has hatched. i just had my fav hen die a frizzle and had about 2 dozen eggs laid before she died was hoping one to look like her. None formed. Was cracking them open and 7 eggs did not have any or very little. Anything I can do to help? Why is this happening?

Any of the eggs that you sent to me are they from you hen that just died? If so mine to due to hatch tomorrow, we can make arrangements and I will send it to you..

I had an egg like that. Saw it when I used some eggs for baking this week.

The white thing that you are talking about is called a chalaza
