Hi. I am looking for some help and advice please.
I had a broody hen and have been given some bantam eggs for her to hatch. I candled them at 11 days and they looked good, but we are now at 24 days and nothing has happened. I candled them again last night and all look full of something dark, like a chick, so have put them back under her.
My questions are how long before I give up and what do I do then? Will she remain broody so should I give her more eggs, try to snap her out of it, or find a couple of little chicks for her?
I'm really disappointed they haven't hatched.
Any help and advice would be gratefully appreciated!
