While I don't know the answer to your question I am trying to think it through logically and would leave it on and then candle. The reason I'm saying this is one of the ways I was told to help a split air cell in shipped eggs was to let the egg rest a day or two before putting in the incubator and once the incubator was on do not turn the eggs for three days. Your five days isn't much past that time frame so I would proceed.
Good luck.

I agree with the other poster as I don't turn shipped eggs for about three days. I think they'll be okay
the eggs in the incubator is on day 16 and there are 12 piped eggs and allot of movement in the others... so lets hope i can get all 30 to hatch.. out of 35 eggs there was only 5 that wasn't fertile. Im so exited so tomorrow morning i will remove the ones that hatched through the night. Can't wait for the morning to come
