Hi, I'm hoping to get some insight on why my Rhode island red has been laying odd eggs all of a sudden. I've read the sticky note but I'm not sure which one could be the cause. They have all come out like this for two weeks. They look like the body checked ones and they do not have their normal pigment. Her food hasn't changed for the past year (Natures Best Organic Pellets) and although I do give them veggie and fruit treats, I haven't for the past 3 weeks or so. I have oyster shells in a seperate feeder for them, but not mixed into their food. I only have two chickens and they are in a huge enclosure. (Two nesting boxes, 30ftx5ft of run space attached.) She just turned two so I'm not sure if this is age related? She seems normal behavior-wise. Is there any illness I should be checking for?
