i'm new to incubating and i have a simple question.

so i am incubating chicken and duck eggs but they are call duck eggs and bantam eggs and our egg turner are just rows and when ever it turns they eggs role over on there side. I keep going in and putting them back but i'm worried that me doing will hurt the hatch because i keep opening the lid. So what should i do? is it o.k. if they are on there side? any information will be helpful. this is my 1st time incubating.

Turning eggs on their side is fine... Can you take out the turners and just turn by hand???
im not sure on how to do that, like i said above this is my first time hatching and i still am not sure what im doing.

no, the turners are just rows and the eggs are to small to just sit in it and they are falling over on their sides.

you can wrap a bit of cotton or tissue on the bottom of the egg to keep it from falling or like Linda said hand turn. thats 3xs a day. put an x on one side of the egg and an O on the other and just roll them over like that.
