Eggs safe to eat?!?

My chickens were on Corid and Wazing all week last week to treat Coccidiosis (sp?). When is it safe to eat their eggs again? They have been off the medications for 5 days now.

Also I just barely noticed (after the fact) on the back of the Wazing (dewormer) it said do not use for chickens producing eggs for human consumption!! I didn't even see that!? Will my hens be ok? Will their eggs?

Wow, I would recommend consulting an avian vet about the matter. I am no vet, but it sounds like traces of the medication would stay in the hen's system for quite a while.

It seems to me that the information would be on the package insert. Otherwise, call the manufacturer. I think it is 14 days.
