I'll join! I set 9 porcelain d'uccle eggs and 1 silver laced wyandotte egg late at night on the 24th. I wasn't going to hatch anymore this year, but my porcelain d'uccle roo died last week so we wanted to try to hatch out his girlfriend's fertile eggs (I know he's been "fertilizing" her regularly for a while now). I don't know how many will hatch, as 3 of them were over a week old when I set them & she JUST started laying a couple of weeks ago. But I'm hoping we'll get a handful of his babies. My porcelain d'uccle pair came from show-winning parent stock and were just gorgeous. We were sad to lose Charlie, the roo. He got beaten up but a larger roo in the flock, did okay for a while, started to recover and was doing well for about a week, but then declined and went downhill and died.
I have had really bad luck trying to hatch shipped eggs but have done EXTREMELY well with eggs from my own yard or from a friend's yard, something that didn't have to be transported any farther than just across town. So here's to hoping Charlie's babies hatch.
