I am getting excited. I have chickens aged 14 to about 17 weeks old and there are a few getting real red. EGGS SOON ... I am ready for them!!

Yes once thier wattles & combs turn red you are getting close to you first egg. But this is when the waiting becomes hardest. enjoy the wait haha.

Try to be patient. I know it is hard but try....

My girls have been blood red since 17 weeks and squatting for at least two weeks. They will be 20 weeks in two days and I am still waiting with you.

Got to wait...I cant MAKE them lay...LOL I LOVE collecting eggs and I think my granddaughter will too.
