Fishy taste in eggs can come from fish meal but it can also come from too much flax in the feed. Egg maker that is sold as an omega 3 booster can make the eggs taste fishy for example.
I would bet that the feed you are using has too much flax or maybe pea protein in it.

Can you post the ingredients label?

I would get a different feed--it sounds like the local place does not have good quality control on their feed ingredients

Maybe try a different feed manufacturer in the future and see if that makes a difference

I might, but I am paying a really good price right now! Approx. $10.00 for a 50lb bag of NON-GMO feed!

I see! I mis read the first post.

Another culprit is onions or garlic. Could they have gotten some? Do you have onions planed where they can eat them?

The only place is the compost pile. But there shouldn't have been that many. I think I will block that off today. Would it be from eating something in the pig pen? spilled feed?

They are not supposed to eat those so it may well be the culprit. You need to screen in the bushes to stop them from eating them.

I boiled some eggs this morning and they tasted absolutely horrible!!! I didn't try all of them because of the taste, so some of them might have been fine. What would be causing this taste? Its not really a fishy taste, it just tastes absolutely gross! What would be causing this?
