Hooray for new chickies & good Mama hens!
Your hen will probably spend the whole day on the nest while the rest of the chicks hatch. It sure is tempting to pick her up to peek, but it's really best to let Mother Nature & Mama Hen do their work on their own. You can look in on them periodically & hope to be rewarded by glimpses of cute lil' chickie faces peeping from under Mama's feathers.
Mom probably won't get up at all to eat/drink/poop. And the chicks will be fine, they don't need any sustenence either today. That's why they get a good sack lunch from the yolk they absorb before hatching, so they can sit in the nest for 24 hours or more without needing to be taken out to eat. Mom may eat some of the shell membranes for a snack.
Have fresh water & chick starter in appropriate containers for the chicks to use. Mom will probably take everyone out tomorrow for their first outing. Then you can check the nest to see if everyone hatched. You can remove the empty eggshells and check any remaining eggs.
What you do with abandoned eggs is up to you. You can look/listen closely for obvious signs of life (active pipping, audible peeping), you can gently tap on the egg with a fingernail & listen/feel for return taps/peeps. You can set them in a bowl of lukewarm water for a minute & see if they move on their own. If you do find signs of life, you could set them in an incubator, or even wrap them in a damp towel & set them under a desk lamp, and try to get them to hatch. IF they hatch, you can try to slip them under Mama hen the next night & see if she'll adopt them. Some hens will, mine never would.
Or, you could just let them cool and then bury them deep, or if you're daring, crack them open to see how much they developed. One thing I don't advise is to try & "make" them hatch. If they don't have the strength to peck their own way out of the shell, they probably won't be strong healthy chicks once they're out.
I don't think I've ever seen a hen get more chicks to hatch from those eggs she leaves behind in the nest. I guess it's possible, but it hasn't happened here. It seems the hen must focus more on the needs of the chicks she has, scratching & searching for bits & bugs for them, and cannot devote the time to continue to incubate the remaining eggs. But you could try just leaving the eggs in the nest for another day and see what happens there.
