Eggs under broody hen pipping!

I had a quick look under my broody hen and the eggs are pipping. How long until they hatch please? Noticed earlier today.

No problem! It's very exciting. I'm anxiously awaiting mine too, haha. No pips yet though.
Watching the little babies grow from just a tiny beating heart to a perfect, fully formed chick, is such an incredible experience.
I wish you the best of luck with them! I'd love to see pics when they hatch too!

Hooray for your chicks! It takes 24 hours and sometimes more for chicks to hatch. The mom hen slightly helps hatching because she sits on them and squishes the egg. The yolk absorbed by the chick lasts them for around 2 days.
