Maybe we both need to print out all of the threads from the past several days from other people whose ducks are actually laying. Bring the printouts to our ducks and read the posts to them and show them the “first egg” pictures. Maybe, they just need “The Talk”.

We thought a hen was taken by the big owl we have been seeing. That was a couple weeks ago. My husband moved a box in the garage and thought he found her dead body. Nope. Stinker went broody.

Our marans must have snuck one in, or layed the first one. Probably the later since it wasn’t viable. We candles hers and they already have the veins.
