Hello! I just started raising chickens and have made every mistake in the book. I recently found myself ordering and ordering and ordering hatching eggs until I had to buy two and borrow another from a friend. In one incubator, I noticed some eggs started having a fishy smell. I looked it up and found out it was normal for brown egg layers (some were Marans eggs), but now I have a few duck eggs smelling fishy. The ones with a strong smell I opened up and they exploded. I am worried it began to spread. Luckily there weren't too many in this incubator, but should I count my losses and throw the rest out? They all now have a slight odor but I can't tell if it's just from being in the incubator with the others. Can bacteria spread like this? Thank you!

Yes bacteria can spread like that so clean it up well. If the eggs has just been incubated go ahead and try to clean the incubator. Use a clean hand towel with some hydrogen peroxide and wipe the incubator clean. You shouldn't have any odor after that.

My dad has 100 quail eggs in his still incubator to exploded this morning today is lockdown what should I do.
