LOL! I thought the same thing. I laugh everytime I hear the toilet cling one where they all say "EWWWW!" Totally off topic but funny nonetheless.

It's good to know I can use Sevin if I ever have this problem. The DE....is that the type with or without silicon dioxide? I have the stuff with about 77% silicon dioxide we used to smother a yellowjacket nest. How much of either is used?

DE??? is that the Diatomaceous Earth I keep reading about?? I have called EVERY feed store, garden center, Home improvement center in the area and no one has heard of it...well the green house has but they don't carry it. All my fellow friends that raise chickens haven't used it either. I was told buy one place to clean the house...hose it out and let dry..then spray a mixture of TEMPO (11.8% Beta-cyfluthrin) on all areas of coop then let dry completely. Then put lime and chicken duster on the floor before putting bedding in...also dust chickens too. Any thoughts on all this before I do it...sounds like a ton of work. I've already dusted them , nests and bedding and already see no mites on the eggs any longer...should I go ahead with the previous "overkill" clean out or wait and see?...oh ya I lost 1 chicken yesterday am and have two off looking ones in quarantine...but other 20 look perfect.
