Eggs with no broody

I placed 5 eggs with a hen and she is sleeping next to them. She is secluded in a 2 foot by 2 foot space, alone with the eggs. How long before I give up. She sleeps next to the eggs and it's been 2 days. Next to them, not on them.

She's not ready. Kick her out until she's more focused. You could start them in an incubator and give them to her when they hatch if she's sitting but she's not going to stick with it right now.
