Of course these are from my Americana. I wonder, these eggs are fresh, 4 days Old maybe, what are the wet looking spots on them? It only happens on some and when they are a few days old. I refrigerate them. Also I was just wondering about that extra crumble of the egg shell on some of the eggs. Is that normal? I know they taste delicious and they look great when you crack them.

I believe you are seeing condensation. When you take them out of the fridge, the moisture in the air hits that cold shell and condenses. The rough spots you see are calcium deposits, or extra shell that gets deposited unevenly as it passes by the shell glands.

Oh I'm very glad it's nothing to worry about. Thank you so much these are the first eggs that I've ever had. New to chickens lol
