I've been getting 2-3 eggs a day. How long can you keep the eggs for b4 they start to go bad ?

A little more information will help us to narrow down the answer for you -- are you washing your eggs or not? Are you storing the eggs in the refrigerator or on the counter? Are you storing eggs for human consumption or are you storing fertile eggs with the intention of hatching them? Eggs can be stored safely for human consumption for weeks, and even months, depending on how they are handled and stored.

Welcome!
We collect twice a day to avoid accidental breakage as our flock lays either morning or late afternoon. Then we wash them in cold water, dry thoroughly, and place in our egg crate, newer going left to right. We've kept ours for weeks in the fridge.

Ok so yes they are human consumption. I have been collecting them and washing before I put them in my basket that I keep on my kitchen table. I was informed that they will keep longer if left out not in frig ?

I believe that by washing them you are removing their natural "protective coating" which helps to keep the bad bacteria out of the egg.
Once washed they should be kept in the refrigerator.

It's your choice where you want to store them.
I personally do not wash them and they go straight into my fridge.

Many people keep them on their counter/table but (do not quote me on this)I do not think they wash the bloom off.
Sit tight..the egg experts should be chiming in soon.
