hey,
my golden comets are about 17 weeks will they start laying soon? and should i open there nesting box?
the only problem is they sleep in it but im going to set up new roosts so it should be good.

Set up new roosts, then once they are used to them, open the boxes. Most chickens lay around 20 weeks. They'll be close when their combs get big and red.

Soon, maybe tomorrow, maybe next month. Don't tell them you're waiting for their rent. chickens live off spite, I'm sure of it.
