Eggs

I have 3 Call ducks ( 2 hens ; one drake ) that are going on 2 years old. The girls lay eggs intermittently , but on a few , rare occasions, I find 2 little normal eggs literally touching side by side in the duckhouse , in the divet a hen made in the soft bedding . Is one hen laying then vacating, with the second hen jumping in to the divet to lay ???
Or is one hen laying 2 eggs ?

Both hens are laying if you are collecting eggs daily.
