I just discovered my white peahen (who has secluded herself next to a ditch) is laying on five eggs. The two peacocks have chasing her relentlessly. She appeared dirty and exhausted. I have an incubator. Should I remove the eggs and try to incubate them? I was successful incubating 12 chicks this spring.
My fear is that she will get eaten by a fox etc.

If you decide to leave her be, something that has worked for us is to pull a bunch of dog hair from our GP and make a circle around her nesting area.
Thanks for your idea. I contacted Leggs Peafowl Farm. I spoke with Brad. He said my white bird would get eaten. I took the five eggs and put them in my incubator. Moon, the white bird seems fine now and back with her two India guys. The older one is dropping feathers so I guess he is done his mating season. Fifteen days left!! fingers crossed.
