Does anyone out there have fertile turkey eggs? I bought 14 bourbon red turkey eggs from an ebay seller a few weeks ago and only one was fertile! Yikes! Anyway, I can't seem to get turkeys around here and now I have one little lone turkey about to hatch and he'll be alone all winter unless I can get some more. Anyone selling any?

This time of year the heat will cause the eggs to not be good. I have to collect mine as soon as they are laid and store them in a cool place or they look clear. They are fertile if they don't heat up. I would not buy shipped eggs this time of year. Everything is already against you with shipped eggs without adding more problems.

Try Welps Hatchery. They ship late in the year. http://www.welphatchery.com/index.asp

Steve, My turkeys are doing quite well. They are so much fun. When they are free ranging and see me they run/fly to me! I just love them. They are so sweet!
