which way are you supposed to place egg in box pointed end up or down? Does it make a difference. n' why

Hi. I have gotten eggs put on there side. I have not had a bad hatch yet.

Are you doing a hatch? or? if a hatch put the large end up and pointy end down.
that's for there aircell.
If you just received eggs to hatch same thing and let rest in carton before setting in bator, maybe over night.
