Eggs

K i have some silkie eggs that are a day late. One chick hatch on day 20 and none have pipped or hatched since. Could this be a humidity problem. I had the temp at 100.00 the whole time. The humidty for the 18 days was 45%. When i put the eggs down for lockdown i put the humidity up to 70 %. Could the other eggs have drowned or what ???

i am an impatient hatcher usually by day 23 i will take the eggs that are left and hold them to my ear to see if i hear any peeping then i will candle the egg trying to be careful not to turn the egg from the position it was in, in the incubator. hope this helps. i have hatched silkies only once but they did take a little long to hatch.
