Don't know the rules in the UK for such things and haven't read anything in the Practical Poultry mag. Me here in the U.S. I just reuse cartons that are clean. I wash all eggs with soap and water and a scrubby. Save the small and funny shelled eggs for the house and sell the rest if I can.

Folks know I reuse cartons and since I don't sell tons I don't have a problem. Most folks save the cartons for me anyhow..

Wish you the best

To be on the safe side, I'd have your name, phone number, address, along with "UNGRADED". At least here in the US, selling your eggs in reused cartons with the grading still on the outside can be a little risky. I just mark through it and stick our printed label on.

Everyone knows I donate the money so it's no big deal. I don't grade and for $2 a doz even smalls would be a deal IMO. I do write "eggs for India" on the cartons of the ones I sell and only the best of what they lay.

I suppose you could have special labels printed to stick on top of the carton right over the store name.
