they free range daily all day 6 days a week. no they can't be hiding them. I feed them but I guess i could try uping there feed. I have been feeding them different then I did the last two years with my old flock with this group i feed as they did in the old days twice a day I go out throw them three or so pitchers of feed into the run and or yard area. this keeps them busy pecking and spreads it out so there is room for everyone.
