my peahen has not laid any eggs this year. I got her last year and laid 2 eggs and then stopped. She did have an abcess below her right eye which I treated with antibiotics in the form of shots (12-15). Could this be the reason?

Where are you? How old is she? Is there a male with her? What antibiotic did you give her? How much each time? How long ago did you stop? Is she otherwise healthy? Has she been treated for worms? Is she penned? When did you get her last year?


A lot of things could be at play. If you can answer the questions above it would be a big help.
