Someone told me not to wash eggs right when I bring them in but right befor I use them. To me it does not seem like it would make a difference. So does anyone know if it's true????

I never wash mine at all if they come out of the nest clean.

What they are referring to is the "bloom", the coating on the egg that is supposed to keep out bacteria from the pores of the egg. If you wash right before you use the egg, that bloom stays on the egg until then.

Thanks that really helped!!!!
