Eggs

Seasonal laying means they only lay for part of the year. My birds typically start sometime in March and will lay through to late summer/early fall. I do have one oddball that laid through the entire fall and winter.

How much a given hen lays depends on a number of things - her breed most of all. I have Standard Bronze and Midget White. I'll get roughly ninety eggs or so per hen in a season. I've read that some like Beltsville Whites will lay 120+. Others may lay closer to sixty.
