Eggs

Reading up on storing the eggs once gathered and had a question. If an egg is fertilized how long can it be kept on the counter top or should it be put in the fridge?

Embryo development does not start until eggs are incubated (raised to a temp. of approximately 100 F). In most environments they can be kept on the counter until used.
