Eggshell Wreath

I couldn't just compost all of my girls first eggshells, so I've been saving them for no real reason. Today, I got an idea, so I pulled out the hot glue gun, a straw wreath form, some ornaments, and some birch bark.

I thought some of you BYC folks might enjoy this.

Did you blow out all their first eggs? Or have you cleverly hidden the cracked edges?

Truly! So beautiful! And i you can keep that from getting damaged long enough to use it again next year, you're my hero.

Those are all half eggshells. There are a few cracks visible, but I tried to disguise them with the ornaments and bark.

its beautiful and i love it. ive got all my girls first eggs shells and i was going to smash them like flat and put them all together in a picture frame i really like your idea you must have alot of hens
