Eggstapated Chicken?? Help!!!!!!

I have a 3 yr old rhode island red mix hen. Her belly is puffy like a water balloon. It isn't hard but squishy, I can't feel any eggs. It looks like she either has a ruptured bowel or she is an internal layer. I have her isolated for the rest of the flock as they pecked a spot open on her back. Her back is healing really well, is there anything I can do for her other symptoms? Pip is not from a hatchery. They used to be free ranged, but now are in a very large enclosure. Could that have anything to do with it? HELP!!!!!

Try soaking her in a warm bath and gently massage her belly. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip! I noticed that she has now gone limp on her right leg, but she can finally hold her weight and stand up. Should I feed her some egg and chicken feathers so she could gain a bit more strength to help her fight this off? Thanks!!!
