Thank you for your reply. Why not hatch a double? Could it be harmful?
Most times if the embryos start to develop there's just not room in the shell for them to progress to a healthy full term hatching size,
both or one will die and rot and 'poison' the other......and a 'rotten' egg in the incubator is a bad thing.

It has been done successfully, google it - there's video out there,
but not a good idea to try unless you're willing to deal with the probable consequences.
 
It was a double yolker. I accidentally cracked it trying to close the lid. As lightly as I did it, it busted from the top, where it looked like the egg had stretch marks. :( .

It is what it is but I appreciate everyone's input. Thank you!!!!
