Any idea of the sturdiness of these? How is the space, do you use wood chips and/or hay?

How easily will they go to a new home? (They are presently in a wooden coop, 3 hens, no roosters)
 
The price per sq ft on those things is ridiculous. They are tiny and very pricey for what you get.
Personally, I think you would be better off to save half of that and modify one of these...

They run about $700, compare to the largest Eglu at $1500. This has infinitely more room. It's plastic, insulated and has Skylights.
Add a couple of easy modifications, and you have a perfect little coop for less than half the price of the Eglu.

Depending on the number of birds you could also go with the smaller models and be money ahead.


Still 5 or 6 times the room as a similarly priced Eglu. With a few simple Mods, you have a great Coop. (We actually raised 6 meat birds in one of these this year. Worked perfectly.)
To clean them out, you just use the hose.
