He was born with hunch back then when he got to be 4 Mo old his neck got shorter and legs got longer lol.
He has always had what I call "chicken butt". He is a bit deformed and has some sort of crusstation on his butt. Lots of pin feathers and redness.
I try to take care of him but was wondering if I can use something better to make him feel more comfy in the rear.
Currently I bring him in the house every other week or so, stick him in the shower and clean him up, dry a bit and apply a very expensive cream my mom got from the hospital for a small bed sore. Great stuff!
I'm not sure if what he has on his behind has a name or what. But have any of you had this issue and what did you use?
No other birds are affected. Egor has had it for months.
Thanks in advance.

Poor guy.
If you have been using this cream for a while and it hasn't helped I would stop, it may be making it worse.

He is awfully red.

Do you have an coconut oil on hand?

I would also clean him up more often..the poop sticking to his butt is probably causing more irritation.
Daily soaks in a bucket of warm water to get all the poop off.

Plain Neosporin or this:

Looks like a drainage from his vent? Hard to tell. But ifs it's leakage from his vent, I would think possible fungal infection like vent gleet and treat him internally and externally for that.
What is his diet like?
