Only some and it was only when I was looking in her vent with my finger . No blood since only the blood on my glove which is in the bin . Not too muchIs it just a little blood or a lot? That doesn’t sound good. Some possibilities might be a broken blood vessel, cancer, or fatty liver disease. I am not a vet, but just a chicken owner like yourself.
Ok do you have any ideas what’s going on instead?Sometimes hens will have a smear of blood on an egg that is passed, but that is not serious. Hopefully, she is not actively bleeding.
It might be a reproductive disorder, as I said earlier. I would try to get her to eat some chicken feed mixed with water and a little bit of scrambled egg or tuna.Ok do you have any ideas what’s going on instead?
