Elector psp

my chickens have scaly leg mites and I’m considering using elector psp. I have tried Vaseline and cleaning the coop,etc and although it seems to help for a bit they seem to quite never be gone.

Can it elector psp be diluted and sprayed on their feet or is it only effective as a soak? I also plan to use it to clean the coop.

I would appreciate any suggestions, tips and advice!

Soaking is way more effective. Diluted, at about 9ml per gallon, soak for about 10-20 minutes

I don't know if i can soak each of my chickens feet for 10-20 minutes. some wont let me hold them for that long.

What's the longest you could hold them for?

Try warmer water. You might be surprised, some chickens just seem to melt right into your arms when having a warm water soak. Spraying their feet will not ensure that the elector PSP gets underneath the leg scales. Soaking will make sure that they are submerged.

You could try soaking for 1 or 2 minutes and then coating in vaseline.

ok I will try warm water and see how long we can do that. Some of my chickens will probably be fine but a couple of them might be a challenge!

Have you seen Any side effects from the elector psp?

No side effects, dont think there ever have been. No egg withdrawl either
